I go to the smith center on campus and use the Harvard Wi-Fi as I have no service and use my older iPhone se I got through a program at the shelter But I lost all my information I don’t have a ID just my birth certificate fortunately. I don’t use a phone really because I’m so use to not having one. Y2y the shelter also has computers I use sometimes too the smith center is a really nice place window it’s cold outside I can be here all day

My mother was a drug addict I was born in LA and moved to MA when I was 7 for school and had to move from place to place I loved school actually and was really gifted I use to enter compitions around Boston for painting but after awhile when I entered high school I had to start working and usually wnytime I got paid I gave my mother my paycheck to take care of my sisters and her but my mother would mostly use it for drugs. I would get kicked out alot and have to sleep outside as I didn’t have many friends to crash with so that was my only option. I had a tent and a heater with a battery and would stay outside my highschool until it was time to go in,

I didn’t want my mother to loss custody of my younger sister but it became harder to hide the abuse as I would show up to school with bruises and other stuff so eventually my school got involved and they took my lil sister away and placed her into foster care, my grades suffered and when I graduated I basically had nothing. Most of my family are drug addicts so I never had much but wlot of the things I did have were always stolen and sold for drugs.

So now I just stay in Cambridge at the shelter at y2y and sometimes I’m lucky and make enough to get a hotel for a night or 2. All the money I do make I just send to my sister for her schooling and to help her I don’t keep really keep any of my pay ik that may sound stupid but I’d rather help her then myself at this point and protect her as I’m the only thing she has. She’s like my daughter because I have nothing it’s impossible to get ahead really. So I’d rather help her and make sure she graduates and gets to go to college.

I’m homeless due to being born in unfortunat circumstances but I still believe in god and pray everyday and love helping people :) I help the homeless around Harvard even though I’m homeless too. Srry if I misspelt a lot of words and my punctuation..it’s been awhile since I text
