Just rewatched Last Man Standing on DVD. I put on old DVD’s while on treadmill instead of music. Great shoot ‘em up prohibition era gangster flick. With Bruce Willis playing a gun for hire working both sides of a rivalry. Also has Bruce Dern, Michael Imperioli, and Christopher Walken among others.

Epic in every way. The cinematography, the cast, and the score are absolutely superb.

“That would be a waste of time” They were actually quite menacing in it too!

Point Break is superior in every way. Fast and Furious is fun, but the heist is ridiculous when you can just take out the engine or tires and get the driver to pull over with minimal risk to your crew. Yet the heist in Point Break is realistic and has actually been done in real life that way. The foot chase in PB is also better than any car chase in F&F.

Jewel is terrible and such a shame this could have been a great adventure trilogy.

Definitely a knock off of Romancing the Stone. Not bad, but Pitt was the best part.

“Aren’t you a little big to be playing in the fucking mud?” Used Cars is a hilarious classic!

Classic fun adventure with a solid cast. The mudslide and waterfall scenes are superb. And talk about sex appeal, Turner in the 80’s in this and Body Heat and the voice of Jessica Rabbit yeah she had it in buckets not just the right amount.

All the Bourne movies were hits. They made sequels because the first one did well.

Reply to Movies on Aerial Warfare like Top Gun:Maverick, recalling some of them, though most are WW2 ones. by LoneWolfInCyberia
Michael Bays Pearl Harbor gets dumped on a lot as they were trying to capitalize on the Titanic love story, but it actually has great aerial battles.
Also not planes but loved Apache helicopters in Fire Birds with Nicholas Cage and Tommy Lee Jones was a favorite growing up with some awesome battles.

It is great. My kids love it too so we watch it annually. Also love that painting of Captain America on the wall in the kids room.
Hartman is hilarious in this; "Thanks. We should get together and swap recipes."
Favorite scene is the fight for the balls in the mall; "I'm notda perbert"
And the Santa warehouse fight; "I'm gonna deck your halls bub!"
