Lewis County is probably too ultra conservative.

Forks!!!! Last year someone kept asking about jobs in Forks. Your vampires comment made me think about that post.

WA doesn't have Eversource. I wouldn't wish Eversource on anyone.

Or edit the wikipage and start this rumor. I'm assuming there's a wikipage for the WA flag, if not, add it to the state's wikipage.

I refuse to say I'm from Seattle. I have friends who say this so they don't have to explain where they're from. It irks me. Also, Seattle isn't the only city in Washington, which is why it annoys me when I say I'm from Washington and people immediately respond with Seattle.

Major pet peeve. Person: where you from? Me: Washington Person? State or DC? Me: state
I hate clarifying that it's Washington state. I now start conversations with, I'm from the west coast, Washington.

It's fine but good luck trying to find an apartment. I see weekly postings on the Middletown Facebook page with people asking for help. People suggest using a realtor. You may want to join and ask.

I made the mistake of mowing my ex-in laws lawn once on a Sunday. I didn't know this was looked down upon. How dare you do anything but go to church and spend time with your family.

Go travel and figure it out. Northeast is nice, people love Colorado. Utah seems to be getting popular. Northern CA has redwoods. Google places and travel. Also, try out places that are out of your comfort zone and see how they feel. If you move somewhere and don't like it, move somewhere else or back to WA. WA isn't going anywhere.

Take a trip to Stew's and check out yourself. You might find some things you like better at one vs the other and vice versa.

Not sure if you ever went down to any of the Binny's in Illinois but heck, I miss Binny's. You won't find a store that rivals Binny's here in CT.

Reply to Considering buying home in WA. Am remote employee for company based out of UT. Will I need to pay income tax? by 1150A
Pretty sure you only pay the taxes you are a resident in. I'm wfh with a company out of y state, but am a resident in x state, so I pay taxes to x state.
This is a moot point if you are a WA resident, as everyone has said, WA doesn't have a state tax.
