Have 2, one 7 years old and one 20 some years old. Keep them waxed and they’ll last forever.

I stick to their coats and that’s it. Have mine which is 7 years old and looks brand new and a 30 year old number that looks new after it’s wax. I’ve seen a lot more Barbour paraphernalia out there lately so my guess is their new stakeholders are marketing the name. The boots are probably made in Pyongyang or Bucharest or some shithole and licensed to Barbour
