The problem is that no one wants to hire someone with a criminal record. I don’t have a problem with the program, but would prefer if the state program just hire them even as basic manual labor jobs. College graduates have problems getting hire from lack of experience. How is someone suppose to get hired when they have a criminal record and 5+ years of nothing on a resume especially if they only finished high school

There’s a difference between a family buying a duplex to rent out as retirement income and a company/wealthy individual that owns a large apartment complex especially the 544 unit concierge cheaping out on spending for repairs.

I have no problems with the state taking the rent money that will be used to pay for the repairs.

The state has made it harder to get a CDL. If the state needed more drivers they could hire untrained workers willing to learn and qualify them for a CDL, but that would cost time and money so the state doesn’t do it. They could offer training for their non driver workers and pay raise if they get a CDL as well.
