I am very sorry for your loss. Pets often touch our hearts in a way no human can.

We have cremated our pets. We had to while renting, but have continued to do so. Group cremation is cheaper. I’ve used 2 places here, and had no complaints (Forever friends and Caring pets)

Feeling down. Slept poorly. Relationship issues with the oldest kid (who is an adult) and the youngest (elementary). Belly hurts. Whine, whine, and then hopefully a beer. I may need a nice walk with good music later today per the advice from u/stickynohte.

Well, I have a microwave meal. I hate leaving for work so early, some days the best I can do is a frozen meal. Also, I know it is popular, but I really don’t like chicken or tuna salad. We have been eating leftovers for dinner the last couple of nights, so I might have to cook tonight.

We usually give that straight for a day or two, and then slowly add in kibble to switch back. One of my adult kids uses a meal topper for her dog, and I use it sometimes as well. Just to mix up the flavors (and spoil the pup).

We traveled out of state. Love the in-laws so overall can’t complain.

I thought I lived on Powhatan land, but after looking it up, it looks like it was actually territory of Monacan Indians, members of the Catawba tribe of the Sioux. I am visiting Potawatomi, Miami, Eel River, Wea, Sioux, and Shawnee land.
