For brunch I like stable on H street NE if you like fondue it’s a Swiss place.
If raw bar is your jam then brine and bubbles on H street as well.
Marcel’s by the kennedy center is always amazing.
The natural history museum is also great. I’m not sure if the air and space is timed tickets or not. There’s also the mirrors exhibit at the hirshorn you have to get same day passes but it’s a cool exhibit.
After the caps game I like dirty habit at the hotel Monaco.
Dive bars, The Pug, Dans Café, The tune inn and Lyman’s tavern are all solid choices.

It’s possible they have improved. CAH is super fun I love their events and the drinks are good. The food meh at best. I just eat before I go now and enjoy the rest! Hopefully, they’ve just improved the food though

They do have them and they are beyond horrible. First time no salt, they then dumped about a cup of salt on them. Same thing next time. Never again.

Mr Henerys on Penn Ave has a boozy board game night with labyrinth game store (or they did before COVID I’m not sure if it’s back) the game store would bring tons of games and show you how to play ones you’re interested in. Good vibes, tasty burgers. Not exactly a gay event but absolutely queer friendly and very welcoming.

Second this. Their food sucks but they have fun drag shows, story time for kids, tasty drinks and a good vibe.

Reply to NoMa Safety vs Dupont Circle for a Single Woman by EbbingOptimist
Dupont IMO is a more fun area, lots of shops, bars and restaurants, centrally located etc. noma is a new neighborhood with less charm etc but bigger buildings with amenities.
