we have reservations in Ole Bull state park for July with a small group of other campers and are so excited! we had to make the campground reservations almost a year in advance

posing for photos is "proud" and generally they won't do it. not saying all Amish follow the same hard and fast rules. my son in law saw an Amish woman in a train station and was surprised she was carrying a handbag! I told him of course she had a bag, was she supposed to carry all her stuff in her hands?

a few years ago I hit a deer. which totaled my car (it was 14 years old) and 2 days later while driving a rental the insurance provided, I hit ANOTHER deer. yay for driving in a farm community in the pre dawn hours

Aldi Mansion in Doylestown, Sunday afternoon ceremony was very affordable and it helped that we could bring in our own liquor (we had signature cocktails, beer and wine)

the hotel in Jim Thorpe (right in town) has been very good at lunch. I regret I don't remember the name but it might just be the Jim Thorpe Hotel
