Darik and the Funbags had huge, lively shows back in the day. They were a super high energy cover band. Chris Michaels was the lead singer and was an amazing front man. He and Darik had a falling out and now he's got some other band.

Always loved Barcelona. Not sure how it's holding up, haven't been in 10 years. Paella was amazing.

Reply to is it just me or have most of the dating apps gotten to be pretty much unusable by RoundPlum
Before phone apps we had to pay for websites. I think Eharmony, plentyoffish, and match.com were the main ones. Eharmony was a religious site but I met plenty of sluts on there. plentyoffish was free but swamped. match.com was the best, met my current wife on it. Our 10 year anniversary is in May.|
My brother is currently using all those apps and not finding anything. Given, we're tall, handsome, well spoken guys. So I guess you have to crack some code with those.

$2300 a month? Dude that's a mortgage. Why don't you buy a house/condo and sell later? Don't piss that away on rent.

My mother grew up there. I remember visiting my grandparents and how beautiful it was. West Haven has nice beaches, but the crime and street racing is out of control. I am afraid to ride my bike here.

Dude, I have 300hp turbocharged jetski, and I am afraid of it. Debris, current, dead stuff... nah I literally feel safer in the sound. Yes, I can hit the top speed of like 70 because there aren't really waves, but I only did it once with a spotter in a boat ahead because you hit a log at 70mph and you're ass over tea kettle. I wouldn't swim in it.

We largely stopped heating our condo. The dogs (pug and English bulldog) don't mind, and we wear sweatshirts and pants. At night, we have mattress heating pads and electric blankets- It's like heaven. The dogs snuggle right in and snore all night. Our little pug literally crawls under the blankets and you can just see his stupid face sticking out. I don't mind winter.

I have heard Barcade is cool. I grew up going to old school arcades in the 80's, playing games like Hard Drivin' and Star Wars. Do they have games like that or is it just Pacman and Tron?

I like Bar better than Sallys and Pepes- but I like Modern the most. The problem is you don't finish your pie at modern, play some pool, go dancing or head down the street for some live music. It's in a stagnant neighborhood. Bar is good pizza and in the entertainment district.
Not to mention the mashed pie is fucking delicious.

I live in the West Shore area, walking distance to the beach, and near Woodmont. We are in a condo complex and it's 100% safe. I know some of the condos sometimes are up for rent.

New England is probably the most beautiful place in the country- There are some "spots" that are pretty in other parts, but to have to have 8 or 9 states that all have breathtaking scenery is rare.

They suck at it though. I used to tape bags of coke to the underside of my balls and they never found it. If had checked baggage, I'd put it in there and never once did they check.

Yeah, I have a "friend"- more like an acquaintance- who is INCREDIBLY annoying, in his late 50s, and has never been married. When I say annoying, he's impolite, downright chauvinistic, demeaning, not funny, and has an annoying laugh.
Needless to say, he cannot get laid without paying for it. He is ALWAYS talking about going to rub-n-tugs and showing pictures of all the "hot" girls he's banged (He hires hookers like every weekend). On top of that he's a huge cokehead. I just didn't realize CT had this really seedy other side.
