It’s a tax on rich people that will raise $500M a year to help fund schools and social programs for poor people.

There may not be fires, but there may well be limitations on having a campfire if we’re really dry.

My hubby was born and raised here so I didn’t have a choice. Traffic has gotten a LOT worse here in the past 10 years due to all of the new homes built. But since I sell real estate, that has been to my benefit. I’d move if he’d let me to the Ruston area where I sold my kid a home.

Hahaha, true, I did that for 15 years before I became self employed so I didn’t have to any longer. My hubby has done it for 28 yrs and is retiring at the end of April. He’s thrilled he won’t have to do it anymore.

LOVE IT! I’ve traveled extensively in the US and there is no place better. Do I wish we had a fairer tax system? Yes, but we’re working on that with the Capital Gains tax.

That’s why WA doesn’t pass an income tax; the voters don’t trust the politicians not to do this to us.

Wow! Just looked up the snow levels last week and it said we are ahead of annual snowfalls. How can that be?

We pay 10% sales tax; zero difference.

That’s ridiculous; children don’t get bills. My kids were both able to do this without bills. You obviously got someone who didn’t know what they were doing.

When volunteering on the phones at my local foodbank, we had tons of clients where the person who owned the house had to take in roommates to pay their mortgage, taxes and insurance to afford to keep their home once they’d retired So damn sad.

Don’t believe everything you hear. Rarely do we have no sun in the winter months and all gray. There have been some winters worse than others, but the sun and the mountain do come out to play in the winter months.
