Reality check for a moment - it is hard for me to rationalize the level of illness that these people carry. I know many that have mental health issues but these 'people' must be absolutely bat-shit crazy.

I've actually been inside the throne room in the middle of the pyramid. Super cool - not really, hot and humid. There is a carved jaguar throne that was behind some serious steel bars. Ceiling only about 5'10' tall and the staircase is even smaller.

I was saddened when they made it off limits cuz the view really gives you a sense of the city and the surrounding countryside but they had to. I witnessed myself the massively disrespectful antics of a bus load of aholes from north of the border.

It is a fantastic site still and if you ever get the chance you should go.
