This state needs tax revenue to accommodate all the broadband updates that are required for small towns to have good Internet so people can work from home. If they weren’t offering to pay for people to move here to work from home we wouldn’t need the revenue. The people running this state are greedy idiots

Whoever wrote this is either in love with a mass murdering evil government or just trying to bait us. We don’t need lessons on how to bulldoze live families or shoot unarmed children in Vermont. Thanks you very much

This is what gentrification looks like. We are slowly pushing out the working class to replace them with the wealthier trust funders and work from home upper income IT people. This needs to stop.

This shit needs to stop. These companies rob opportunities for affordable housing which is desperately needed to create bottom of the barrel jobs that don’t even touch the cost of living in Vermont.

We are currently trying to cater to everyone. Not just a Tiny percentage of the population. The gender wars need to fuck off for a bit until we reach that goal

I got a Subaru as a rental with out of state plates when my girl got in an accident. I’ve been driving it around all week. It’s easy to spot a local in that thing. They give you a certain look. Subarus have a great AWD system and transmission coupled with a motor that lasts almost exactly 100k before needing a complete rebuild

People move here complaining about having to shovel snow is a special kind of idiocy to me. My reaction will never change to hearing people complain about things that a region is known for. It’s like moving to Seattle and complaining about your stuff getting wet because of the rain. Just stop it.

Funny. My 75 yo neighbor still shovels and maintains his driveway without crying about it on Reddit. Of course he is a native. Unlike 65%+ people here.
