Come to Philly, where people drive their challengers 60mph over cobblestones

The emergency doors in nyc have alarms too but people routinely hold them open despite the alarm sounding. So at a lot of stations they just disabled the alarm so it’s not constantly going off

Because it works so good on chestnut. I’d definitely rather have it than not but it’s questionable with how much it has done in Philly so far.

I’ve 100% seen this happen everytime I’ve been to O’Hare. Can’t say for sure about LAX

This happens in Chicago and every other major city too. It’s not like it’s just a Philly thing.

Franklin fountain objectively has good ice cream and the interior is very cool but I get so damn angry everytime they tell me the total for my order.

So I may have misinterpreted the sign- I don’t think service is going to be restored here but the station is getting $1.25m in repairs/restorations. Sad that trains won’t stop here but very glad it’s being restored nonetheless

It’s being restored by septa using money from the federal government

There’s a sign outside of the station now that lists improvements being done and that funding is being provided by the feds with a slated reopening of summer 2023 -sign was not there last time I rode past in august.

Most of the people I went to college with who studied policy, government, etc. would not ever want to work directly for a state. I’m sure they are doing this simply because they can’t get employees otherwise

It’s income based housing not free housing. People in expensive townhomes on spruce and pine do the same shit. It’s dumb in both cases but no need to make it seem like the lower income people are the problem

A lot of the world is like that. When I was in the Netherlands a 15 min bike ride takes you from a bustling city center to a wide open farm with cows walking around.

Everyone’s weighed in on Chinatown spots already. Some less known bangers are in little Saigon/Bella vista area. Shing Kee is a lovely family run sit down/takeout spot. Everything I’ve had there is great. Really anything from that plaza or wing phat plaza is outstanding.

I can’t speak from experience at the market itself but southeast Asian food in general is highly vegetarian friendly. Fried bananas, various tofus, stir fried veggie noodle dishes galore.
