Even with AMC on a basic cable package, that was still more expensive then than paying $15 for HBO Max. The numbers are more for TLOU because more people have access to watch it today than they ever did.
BB was also airing during a time when there were a handful of really good shows worth watching, even on network channels. TLOU is on an island against a barren sea right now, so the fact that it doesn't have much competition is another reason why the numbers are better.
