Yes. Had been for almost two years now... And it's true 1411kbps lossless not whatever concoction MQA claims to be... And it's also cheaper

Android caps at LDAC 990kbps so it's the closest to lossless... But why are you buying a Bluetooth Device for lossless when you know Bluetooth doesn't have a lossless codec yet... Anyway you'd not notice the difference anyhow... Also why are you not using Apple Music on an Apple device when they have actually true lossless not the MQA scam that Tidal sells

The Sony didn't improve it, it's just the output impedance of the Sony headphone port being high enough (more than 1/th the impedance of the headphone) that's is altering the FR and adding bass boost... That's not the way the HD560S sounds

What's your budget? And no I don't recommend the HDVD800.
And yes I'd DM you the preset that mimics the iFi Boost

You just need a better DAC/AMP that doesn't have distortion issues and then use Equaliser APO to create the low shelf filter for bass side... (I can help with that)
But it's not because the HD800S is hard to drive... It isn't

Who told you they require lots of power? Lol it needs 210mW of power to get to fill 120dB SPL.

Well ask reach individual their favourite song and then use that in the demo.... That will be more impressionable than using a song they know nothing about

The HD800S is overrated for FPS games... Unnatural width to the stage makes for footstep cues sounding farther than they truly are

Well the HD560S is thin sounding imo and the 770 Pro has treble excess and a hole in the lower midrange and midbass crossover so yes it will sound weird.
Also maybe you don't like headphones

That person is speaking horse shit... Spotify is audibly indistinguishable from higher bitrate files of the same master source during an ABX test

Not everyone has the time to do all what is necessary to make speakers sound their best in their space because:
-
They may not have said space
-
Convenience and ease of use of over ears
-
Don't have time for speaker placement, room correction, filters, crossovers and all that

Well then it's impossible to know it's frequency response so you'd have to EQ by ear till it sounds decent to you

That is not burn in but pad wear... They're two significantly different things with the burn in being totally a myth whilst pad wear is a verifiable phenomenon
