GoRuck is the best BIFL back pack. She ain’t cheap, but it’s one of the truly BIFL items I own. The bonus is their utility. Open up all the way flat, lots of zipper compartments. Two large compartments and a large laptop sleeve. Great for frequent travelers or daily users alike. Also lots of carabiner attachments for exterior attachments.

You take home about $305 / day. After expenses, about 2 days a month pays for the car. I know this is dangerous way to think about things, but it's a great way to justify things.
