housing is tough to find here right now. If I had to go back to TN I would go to east TN, maybe near Johnson city.

Sorry for you. It was always a society that pushed for conformity, but when I grew up, folks went to church but weren't militant about it. That's very different now. I once was helping my mom get roofing quotes, and one of the roofers wanted to talk to me about jesus.

So, I understand that a spark, such as lightning or a spark plug spark, is visible because it excites the atoms of the gasses it passes through. Why is the emitted light predominately blue, or is that just my imagination?

people don't become resistant to antibiotics, bacteria do. So, the immune system reacts to an infection the way it would without treatment. Antibiotics can wipe out good bacteria, for example in the gut, and give bad bacteria unchecked ability to spread which can make things harder for the immune system.

Reply to Vermont stone walls... by bravestatevt
There are two types of stone walls. One that is mostly a heap of stone is created by clearing fields for plowing or mowing; these are typically not very high and mostly rounded at the top. The other type is for livestock and is made much more deliberately, typically higher and often with an obvious top.
