Separate lighting and receptacles put co/smoke on with lighting
Not sure where you are or your local code but receptacles should be on an arc fault breaker the lights and smks cannot be on an arc fault as they need to function in an emergency also if you can run a three wire to upstairs smk to interconnect if one activates they all activate
