One time, I was camping in the wilderness and heard rustling outside my tent in the middle of the night. I peeked out and saw a pair of glowing eyes staring back at me. It turned out to be a cougar, and it was so close I could see its teeth glinting in the moonlight. I had never felt so simultaneously fascinated and terrified in my life. I managed to scare it away with some loud noises, but I didn't sleep a wink for the rest of the night.

I once accidentally dropped my phone off a cliff while on a hiking trip. Miraculously, it landed on a tiny outcropping of rock and didn't fall any further. I managed to retrieve my phone from the ledge but I was shaking the whole time. I'm pretty sure I used up all my luck for the year in that moment lol
