I don't think you can search by account name anymore. You used to be able to (maybe?)
But try recovering it. You should have enough information to go on... Who knows?

Check out their page.
If they haven't logged in for years/these are the only games, chances are they won't be coming back.

Oh! You can try to recover them possibly. The games may be on some forgotten steam account from years ago but if you go to the account recovery page on steam, I feel like there was a way to select "I don't have access to this email" - then enter the cd code.
With any luck you may be able to turn the account over somehow. 🤷♂️

That's true. CS actually has strategy, unlike HL2DM which is basically all luck and managed chaos. But maybe that's a good thing? It gives a more arcade like experience. You didn't need to try so hard with that game.

Even DOD is better than CSGO.

I miss the days when not every fps was objective based with strick competitive elements players must adhere to. There wasn't a patch every week that changes the games meta, we just didn't care if every game element was perfectly and meticulously balanced. Sometimes you just want to jump into some crazy arena style gameplay with lots of choas and jump out. No player ranks, no unlockables, we didn't really even care if the team lost (because wants the point?)
You just played the damn game and were happy with what you got. Nowadays gamers expect everything to be tailor made to fit every need, want, and desire.

There are one or two servers alive. I fucking loved HL2:DM. I remember rushing home from school to play it back in the day. Still holds up decently today.
Classic old school death match style choas.

Asteroids.
40 something years old. Perfect graphics and sound, tight controls, amazing physics. Infinite replayability, no need for a story, just high scores.

Far Cry 5 because they did a decent enough job of making it look like MT and it was cool to play a game set in my home state.

Reply to ELI5: Why does it seem as if most every day use items have carcinogens or other chemicals that can harm or kill you? by thedl894
California passed a stupid law that requires any product to label it self as potentially cancer causing if it has carcinogens, no matter how miniscule of an amount may be present. Since it's too complicated and expensive to relabel only the stuff going to Cali, they just put the warning on everything no matter what state it goes too. The result it everyone now thinks everything will give them cancer.

I was able to recently recover a really old steam account I lost back in like 2006 with like no effort. I think I pretty much just entered the account name and selected "I no longer have access to this email..." Or something like that and it worked... Too bad. : /
