Doesn't even need to infect humans to harm us.
Most of our food supply depends on just a few species of plants.

Like how often are birds way outside their normal range, but nobody notices because few people examine every duck in a flock, looking for one that doesn't match

How would bacteria in the injection make the death penalty any more barbaric? It isn't going to kill him slower.

It is kind of absurd, that the state is going to kill someone but also test the drugs for bacteria first.

Maybe they have a policy of eliminating sentient life before it can become a threat.
Maybe they just like hunting undeveloped species in exotic locations.
Maybe the humanoid form is considered blasphemy against their deity?

You just added an unnecessary design constraint.
Most people couldn't carry 14 gallons of gasoline, either, but have no problem getting their tank full.

The battery-swap station would need some sort of equipment, yes. Operating it could be part of the service. It could even be automated.

If there was a standardized battery for them to design around, wouldn't that make it easier? You wouldn't need 10x

Strange story. He tried to claim asylum in Canada but was denied. Shortly before being deported in 2015, he and his wife drove across the border to Vermont, where they were arrested. The judge reviewing the paperwork for extradition noticed that the arrest warrant was dated before the date of the alleged crime, and declared it invalid in the state of Vermont.

PVC is incredibly useful, but also very not-good for us. When burned, it produces dioxins and dioxin-like-compounds, which ends up in our food.

Slip-lining is far less expensive than digging up the streets to repair and replace old utilities (for situations it is even applicable).
Probably time to reconsider the compounds we use in lots of things, now that we know more about them though.
