Reply to Not a big fan of physical books by DwnStairsIsQuitePosh
not me. whatever it is i own,i like to have something i can HOLD if possible: i buy lot's of books to read at night,i buy copies video games and movies rather than download them and even still have a CD player.
digital is all fine and dandy if that's your thing but i'm old school and i like being able to touch things and feel them in my hands.

Reply to Why are HUMANS so predictable? by LegalCrook
humans are just big, overly glorified apes: once you know how apes works then you've pretty much got humans down too because there is little difference between a human and a chimp right down to basic instincts such as tribalism and idol worship.
everything humans do is because of some primal instinct that humanity hasn't evolved past.

i'd say you're guilty simply for creating the monster at all: mentally ill or not, digging up dead bodies, sowing them together and bringing them to life is a little beyond what most would see as reasonable even for someone that's insane (you didn't HAVE to create the monster for any reason: you CHOSE to and the amount of work required pretty much requires you to be sane enough to know what you're doing).
also you live in,what? the 1900's give or take? your ass can be locked up or even killed for a LOT less so you were already screwed.
you're guilty and will be lucky if you're not hanged.

Reply to Do you ever look up the authors you're reading to get to know them better? by justkeepbreathing94
i read a lot of manga and manga artists will sometimes actually add a section at the end of each volume (or little sections between chapters) that tells them a bit about themselves. you don't tend to get any gritty details but thanks to it i know that the guy that writes PHD: phantasy degree is a huge gaming nerd that sometimes would have rather have just played fantasy video games all day instead if writing manga, the lady that writes tokyo mew mew likes to cosplay as her main character when she appears at cons and sometimes get's weird questions and the lady that writes emma: a victorian romance is such a huge maid nerd that she used the series as an excuse to take a trip to london for "research".
it's not a LOT of info but it does let you get to know them a little bit and creates a level of connection between author and reader that just wouldn't otherwise be there.
