I love their tortilla (Spanish omelette)! Used to love their shakshuka, but it's been so-so the last couple times I got it - heavy on tomato paste, low on spice. The fig goat cheese sandwich is great too. And I always get a pot of the Moroccan mint tea. Mohammed is a cool dude. The hours of operation are hilariously random. They sometimes have live music - jazz, etc. - late at night. Overall, one of my favorite spots in the city

A job is required first, for most people, to provide some stability, after which they can start pursuing education or training part-time. Doesn't sound like the OP is in the full-time undergrad group

Eh, I would just call and ask them. The kids working there wouldn’t mind, and if anyone would know, it would be them. They’re very friendly. RS Peacedale is my gym, and I’m somewhat tied in (heh) to the RI climbing scene - I’m just too old to know what a discord is.

Nothing that I know of in RI. REI in Cranston has their section of returned items for sale.

If you're ever up north, definitely stop into IME in North Conway - they have a big consignment section in the basement. Ragged Mountain Equipment, just up the road in Intervale, also has consigment stuff in their basement.

CRG Warwick: Shorter walls, less autobelays, maybe a bit more bouldering? Nicer, more modern gym overall - full modern training room with weights, moonboard, etc. Locker rooms with showers. In terms of the climbing, I think the grades at Warwick are very soft compared to Wakefield, and I think the route setting at Wakefield is better - more technical and thoughtful/ sequency, I guess? (people describe the routes there as “bouldery”, and some don’t like that)

Sachuest Point is part of the National Wildlife Refuge system - federally managed. When people on the island say The Bird Sanctuary, they mean Norman Bird Sanctuary, which is totally independent - not even part of Audubon or anything. You can see the Bird Sanctuary from 2nd Beach - that big rock/cliff thing is Hanging Rock, part of their property. They’re both beautiful areas, and very different in character - you can make a day of it and hike them both.

But, I just don't get how this sales model is supposed to work? Haven't they heard of a "hard no"? You get a hard no, you move on to the next prospect. It's a numbers game. It actually seems like it's wasting their own time to keep bothering people who aren't interested.
