Fiber wise, linen lasts as close as forever as possible, and is greener than cotton or synthetics. Vegan too, if you're concerned about that.

Linen does last forever (ask some Egyptian mummies) but £150 for a shirt is hard to swallow.

Yeah the pair I spent a ton on for my kid lasted barely 3 years. Mine are 30 years old.
