It’s not false to say a lot of talent left the industry in the city. I know people that moved, people that died, people that got into sales or real estate, people who cut their hours back, people who aren’t as passionate as they used to be. I’m not saying there’s still not talent here or that others didn’t step up but dude come on have some self awareness, the industry lost people.

I wish they could move this up to penns landing or maybe sugar house and turn it into a hotel. That’s be cool. Far more likely it sinks where it sits right there though

“ In his final question, Nutter noted that Gym said during a recent mayoral forum: “When I walk into the room, systems of oppression fall and new systems of opportunity come up.”

“I literally never heard Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi ever say anything like that,” he said. “But I guess I just want to ask, I mean is that what happened when you walked into the Union League?”

He was referring to Gym’s visit last month to the swanky Center City private club days after she criticized it for presenting an award to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.”

“I’m just concerned about the density, and I’m really concerned about the parking,” Council President Darrell Clarke said Tuesday morning, addressing Planning Commission director Gary Jastrzab during budget hearings. “It’s a real issue. Everybody’s not going to ride the train, everybody’s not going to take public transit. This is Philadelphia. People drive to the corner store. This is what we do.”

This is how they think and I agree with you it’s frustrating.

The DOJ doesn’t want to appear partisan. Republicans would go apeshit if indictments started dropping. Conservatives have been working the refs for decades and it works. Same reason the media constantly both sides it instead of calling out the GOP for what they are. This is where we are. For the record I think they should all be in jail.
