Reply to Warren Township by [deleted]
Warren County is bigger than one would think. Wooded land, a couple of bigger towns, Hackettstown and Phillipsburg. Easton is directly across the river from Pburg, with many food choices, a theater venue and farmer's market. Both towns have ethnic food options.
Blairstown to the north is very scenic and more artsy. We have a lot of deer, bear, and various livestock. Many farms. It has the most interesting roads from Shades of Death to curvy, steep mountain roads, to Jane Chapel and Lake Justit. There's Hope for antiques as well as the county seat in Belvidere.
Yeah it's 'red' but that's changing. And some of the friendliest people are in Pburg.

Likely the most corrupt isn't a city, but the wealthier suburbs. Many of the smaller towns had mafia or 'other' interest if not involvement.

Which all of them WERE under blue laws years ago. I remember going to stores with roped off sections.
Grew up in Bergen County and have no issue with it having blue laws. Passaic is a bridge away. The other counties maybe 20 minutes. You would spend that much time trying to get into a parking lot.
And Sunday to enjoy the multitude of parks and recreation the county has.
