Republicans are seething that they’ve spent the last six years all-in talking about how Clinton and Hunter are criminals and through all of their exhaustive investigations, no crimes have been found.
And then every time you look under the rug with trump and co, you find new crimes

I bet it’d fuck Putin right up if NATO started conducting strikes in Ukraine.
Wouldn’t be threatening an inch of Russian territories or a single Russian citizen. More than we could say for what Russia is doing to Ukraine and innocent Ukrainian civilians

If you were riding a medallion yellow cab, you could point to the fixed fare listed on the side of the car.
Did you go to the taxi queue or grab one from the scammers at the exits.
Edit: no fixed fare from LGA

I’d say Iraq and Afghanistan were not dangers to the larger global order. Russia, in combination with Iran and others is absolutely a threat.

I would too and there are wars that I don’t agree with (probably the ones you’re mentioning) but when it comes to Russia, I don’t see diplomacy going very far at all. They’ve broken nearly all of their “peace” treaties and operate like the mob. What they’re trying to do is join with other belligerent nations in upending the democratic world order. If we let this come to pass we will be in a world of pain.
China is being icy to them now because they’re failing so hard and because China benefits a lot from their entanglements with the west. But if things ever tip in Russias favor, I wouldn’t be surprised to see China jump at the opportunity to switch to a more aggressive stance against the west as it may be their one opportunity to upend the current structure.
The west is not perfect and has committed a lot of atrocities but I always have to ask myself…do I want to live under a world order whereby liberal and democratic western countries set the rules or one where countries like Russia and china have an equal say

Our fears of “escalation” are allowing authoritarians to run wild. we are at or approaching a watershed moment in the world. We either stop (directly or indirectly) these oppressors in their tracks or we tell them we don’t have the willpower to do so.
And China is watching carefully to see what the collective willpower is

Or that. I can sympathize with property owners that are falling on legitimately hard times and can’t rent out.
But it is so blatantly obvious that many are gaming the system by writing off imaginary losses on the hopes of hooking a big money tenant. This kind of manipulation should not be tolerated

To me, the only logical way for them to lower rent is by letting their properties sit empty and generate no revenue when no one can or will pay their exorbitant rents.
But the fact that they can write off empty properties as losses on their taxes is what really gets me. That provision should be eliminated.

No I’m talking about actual convicted grifters. Facts, not feelings. Bannon was convicted of grifting Republican voters out of their hard earned money. Then trump pardoned Bannon for his crime of grifting Republican voters. And now Republican voters are such idiots that they wildly support the guy who pardoned the criminal who grifted them.
Unions, while you feel that you don’t approve of them, ensure better living wages for members. This is a fact.
These two things are not the same

I find it so strange how leaders in the Republican Party literally con Republican voters out of millions of their hard earned money and those same Republican voters just cheer harder for the people who conned themselves.
I know they resent the rest of the world calling them idiots but it’s almost like they’re begging for it
