I'm not limiting our son's time much, but I make sure he has time off for homework and turns the PC off some time before he has to sleep. And no study will ever convince me that this is wrong. Limitless, excessive indulgence is just never a good thing, no matter the topic.

This!

I have a so called artist name. Just the official designation of a legal alias or - in my case - pen name. It's an actual, usable name, but you can view it as a title, if you like.

I do use my alias pretty much always and everywhere. It just turned out like that. But my mom doesn't use it and doesn't have to. To her it's just what it essentially is - a stupid nickname.

Make your former name your secret, intimate, personal name only your gf can use. Nobody else is even supposed to know, so in public she'll have to use your new name. Sell it to her, so she can realize that she's the one who has something special with you.

Ikr?! It's just SO much easier when you have someone to actually talk to about interesting stuff. Looking at it this way, I wonder if those people who got offended by your explanations maybe just are lazy and looking for an excuse to stop being active ...

I am not socially inept. In person, I'm actually pretty good with people without much effort. And this could've totally happened to me, because I'm a huge history nerd and a very well informed atheist. I even read the bible. All of it.

This is no FU. This is people being pissy about their fairy tales. You have no duty to protect them from simple truths. You weren't craping on their beliefs. Just sharing knowledge and being you. Maybe a little nerdy, but that's no crime.

Don't feel bad about this. You sound like a person I'd love to hike with. Especially where there's something interesting to see and talk about.

That's a short-term problem pressing for a solution. If it hapoens, the government will soebd the dough for better infrastructure, because it makes sense in many ways. It's much easier to come up with the money when trains are overcrowded, even though it would've been smarter to make the services better and more attractive to attract more users naturally. Humans are weird like that.

Also, I love that it happens. Public transport almost never vreaks even directly, money-wise. The profit lies in better connectivity for many people. Good for the economy and society. A long term strategy.
