Would not recommend.
Especially not because of the dude who offers you a drink and then you puke your guts out.
And then you have to chase them, wash them and put them back in. You can not imagine how much muck they pick off the ground when slithering through the woods
Seriously, just being reminded about him makes my guts squirm uneasily. No idea what is in that brew but the little snakes hate it with passion.

That sounds as if you have seen the Leshy's human form.
But then, it also seems the Leshy holds you in high regard.
Are you, perhaps, distantly, very distantly, related to the Leshy? It would explain the thing with your family and being the caretakers of that special piece of land.

Awe, you are adorable, aren't you?
The kindergartener with his big, dangerous stick.
Oh yes, sure you are a superhero and you get to rescue the lady from the big, bad evil.
The Misses might coo at you, maybe she laughs. Maybe she will have you for tea.I am pretty sure she will have you for tea.
Serious, if you want to get a Leshy to have an interest in you, you need to be a very special person. And the way you think makes clear, you are not.
The first to die, and most often horrible, are the white knights who are full of themselves. There is no space left for cunning or anything else that makes a hero, a hero.

I am pretty sure the beings on that piece of land also look forward to the Yuletide fun.
You will encounter Nothing, it will be splendid.

Santa Michael doesn't, no idea how messy the others are. Oh but it would be lovely to find out, if OP survives the roid-elf

Well, he got a whole angry elf in christmas stockings. That sure is a ton more than he expected.
Hah, I love Michael. Well, sometimes. As long as it isn't me in trouble.

yeah, and the stones of the already dead people were back with the stone of the one person who would survive(OP), because they were already dead and it didnt matter anymore if they were there. not to the ritual. if they had been alive still, only OPs rock would have been there in the box..or it would have found its way misterously into the circle already

Just read up on rabies. How a tiny virus can change your behaviour. Or toxoplasmosis, that makes prey animals fearless, or even attracted to danger, which scientists say might be a reason why some people are so addicted to dangerous hobbies or not taking danger serious.

Yes, the human stuff was kept for dessert.
And special meats tend to be too expensive for an ordinary buffet. It seems for the main course the special guest ate all the things that were served generally at the buffet.

It sure would have been a show if they had put him on a tepanyaki. But it would remind me too much of dancing mussels/snails, where they put the raw animals on the grill and the poor things move around to try and get away from the heat.

There are many delicacies you eat raw, the most famous one is oyster. Because cooking tends to destroy the delicate flavour

You can eat shrimp with shell and all, no peeling.
It is actually the best part of the shrimp. Crunchy, very intense taste and also full of healthy stuff.
But the spikey things on the head can poke your gums if you are not careful about eating. I had a friend who loved shrimps, the big one you can buy raw and in shell, with legs and all. Just fry them up in oil with soy sauce and some chilli sauce and garlic. But then she also tended to eat the bones from the chicken wings, so... at least she got her minerals.
I do eat shrimp shell, but I never could get myself to eat the head because of the gelatinous mass in there. But the tail shell and the legs are fine.

A bit?
Bringing the book back where you thought he had left one back, ok...honest mistake..but everything else. Telephone call, the salt, the repeated book things, screaming at the phone, seriously.
