My old city was getting eaten up by the hospital. It just kept buying real estate and expanding. It became depressing because an entire section of the city became a parking lot and hospital with nothing else around except more hospitals buildings. We’re not even that big of a city so the size of the hospital was ridiculous and the bulldozing of the surrounding area pointless.

Wow, it looks depressing and bland.

It’s sad to see how an obsolete corrupt politician still lives rent free in people’s head. Meanwhile we have our own politicians in NYC, lowering our quality of life, yet they never seem to get criticized. The masses are too easily distracted.

This is Biden territory and don’t you forget it. Eric Adams is going to save the city! Let’s never change.

Reply to Magnificent pictures of New York's old Penn Station before it was demolished, 1910-1963 by Hidethegoodbiscuits
What if Rome or Venice, Italy tore down 50% of all of their historic buildings and replaced them with cheaper structures in an attempt to make modern a city. Seeing these Greco-Roman buildings turned to rubble only to be replaced by an inferior structure makes me wonder why certain European countries refuse to demolish their cultural sites.

In 2022-2023 they’re demolishing like 20 buildings that surrounded this one. They’re all made in the same beautiful Greco-Roman style. Hotel Penn is being torn down as we speak. New York, your culture is being erased, demolished and replaced with mundane glass-steel boxes.

Stormed and the whole company thrown into an insurgence.
Extreme Buzzwords are becoming a problem. They’re just inaccurate.

It’s impossible to re-create what is in this photo with the naked eye (it’s heavily edited). Although, less light pollution = more stars than you’d be able to see in a big city (like D.C), however.

Yep, they’re going to find the cure to cancer in that building.
“If you hate this depressing building, you hate cancer research.”
Shut up.
