There are orcas (I think) that are described as "residents" they stay in a more or less defined area where other orcas travel.
There is also a shark species that sometimes meet up at a certain spot.
It is hard to find a all fitting answer but the behavior of some suggests that they are aware of locations like, "where I am " and "where I want to go /be"
