TBF, they're probably already tracking your face since it's owned by Amazon.

I think it's more than this, at least for FB. FB has always strived to manipulate feeds. Before it left chronological feeds just over a decade ago, they were busted for doing psychological experiments by manipulating user feeds without user consent. Of course that 'consent' came in the form of the ToS, which gradually evolved over so many years. Needless to say, FB has pissed off tons of users. Even through Covid and the election, a large chunk of people left and they left because they do'nt want the manipulation. Unfortunately, the newer generation is growing up with this as the new normal.

He's not asking google to recommend the pc. He's asking google to pull objective articles that could lead him in the direction of making an informed decision.

You need proof that Amazon sells low quality shit? And that google has become cumbersome? and that Facebook force feeds you shit content that you don't want to see? lol wat? Are you going to tell me next that there's no proof of planned obsolesence or right to repair issues?

Lol, the legitimate questions have to do with data and privacy. What a junk piece.

It isn't though. There's quite a bit wrong with that image from a surfer's perspective and the judges weren't surfers which is why she talks about the 'perfection' being appealing to the laymen person. A surfer is going to know that the break is weird, or the flow and physics of the whitewash doesn't make sense.
In general, most people who aren't privy to a specific discipline are ignorant of it. My neighborhood fb group is filled with people who couldn't tell the difference between a well post-processed photo and one that's massively clipped in the highlights with maxed out clarity and saturation.

Just had this convo in the Midjourney sub. Not only is it creating entitled, low-effort individuals, it's also teaching them to use descriptive words and phrases of concepts incorrectly. But they don't care because it yields the output that looks good to them.

As long as you have the option to upvote or 'like' or 'retweet' things, your theory doesn't hold true. The internet is about popular opinion even if it's not right.

I mean, filters on social media sites are essentially scanning your face and people do it every other second. As an aside, the other day I took a picture of my dog. I was looking through the photo and then happened to press my thumb down on my dog in the photo. It suddenly did a mini-pop out of my dog like picking a selection--apple contoured my dog to recognize that it's a dog in the picture. I'm reverting to my old camera, cause that is creepy af.
