I agree with your overall point, I just get tired of the "schools should teach how to do taxes" example being overused and oversimplified as some kind of magic key to unlocking an easy transition into adulthood.

The whole "schools should teach how to do taxes" cliche is silly. It's the easiest thing in the world and sites like TurboTax or FreeTaxUSA hold your hand through every simplee step.

Which would ultimately lead to a hilarious supreme court case with an embarrassing 9-0 ruling against NH

I mean... so did Obama, Dubya, and Clinton. Trump is the first FITN primary winner to go onto win the nomination and then the presidency since Bush in 1988. We aren't exactly sending our top choices to the White House... and the one time we did recently, look how that turned out lol...

They're not nice and neat, there's just a lot more analog movement of a knifes blade than a bullet's trajectory. Of course depending on the kind of ammo or the number of shots bullet wounds can be wide and gaping, or completely destructive.

Yeah a stab from a knife isn't necessarily gonna be as nice and neat as a bullet hole.

Because governors actually have to, you know, govern.
Not to say that Senators aren't important but they are legislators and not in the business of managing government agencies. They can impact it based on how they legislate but the impact isn't usually as immediate.
