A large part of this is because many people got dogs during covid, as a result the designated areas aren’t big enough for everyone. That leaves the owners to find alternative places to run their dogs. I think if NYC created more place for pets and their owners to go there would be less issues. Of course there is always going to be people who don’t pick up after their pets and people that break the rules but it should return to precovid like behavior which is atleast tolerable

I know Bronx is a borough of NYC but so are Queens/ Brooklyn but they’re on Long Island. So I wasn’t sure if Yonkers was like Long Island

NYC is the five boroughs, queens and Brooklyn are on Long Island. Manhattan is it’s own island. Staten Island is it’s own island. Bronx is the only one I’m not sure of but pretty sure they’re part of Yonkers.

I think it’s disrespectful to actual engineers who worked hard and put the hours into school to gain that title. Last time I checked you only need a HS diploma to be a janitor/ maintenance

Yea but that’s maybe once every year or two, you’ll go through a rake a month if you’re using it on concrete.

Unless they changed it it’s 7am, and pretty sure public spaces and government buildings are exempt from these sort of rules

Custodial engineers? Call them what they are, maintenance or janitor.

Lived in Astoria for a few years and next to my building were two houses with 3 foot of curb in between their driveways, so luckily I never had my bike hit, but I see downed bikes all the time

You could make indoor spaces too not everything has to be outdoors
