My next thought would be to turn iMessage off and back on again.

You may want to see it the issue occurs when sending media (of any kind: gif, pictures, videos) to an individual instead of a group.

Outside of that, I’d just suggest following basic troubleshooting tips. Try shutting down your iPhone and powering it back on. Check to make sure it has a solid internet connection (via cellular or Wi-Fi). Are people able to send media to you? Do you have any other Apple devices (like an iPad or Mac) to see if you can send media from there? If so, then you know it’s something specific to your device.

See if the issue occurs when using a different GIF provider.

The #images feature is Apple’s built-in app for sending GIFs. There are others available in the App Store (I use GIPHY when I want a wider selection of GIFs than what Apple provides).

If the issue occurs when sending from there, then it may be an issue with sending media in texts—maybe try sending a photo or video to see if those fail as well.

It’s a good show. That said, the constantly ridiculously attractive people trying to normalize and romanticize sex and adultery rubs me the wrong way.

It’s just a personal thing, probably some PTSD from my previous relationships.
