I have the same problem but moondrop's spring tips did it for me. They are comfortable and I don't feel pain or itch and they also stay in position and the medium size fits both of my ears

I have Samsung Galaxy A12 and it's a weird case. For me the default system EQ (everything is at 0db) sounds worse than if I change anything. Even a 20k -0.5db decrease changes everything. My theory is some Samsung phones basic EQ is actually boosts some frequencies which could cause worse sound. Also some phones have audio settings and you can choose what type of headphones/IEMs you using and it changes the EQ even though the system EQ is at default

Maybe you just don't like their sound signature (it's darker than the Sundara) Always check if you connected the jack properly I had times when something little was blocking it.

You can check your audio options maybe it has enhanced sound on or the quality set to CD or lower. Also it depends what on your music service lower quality means more compression that could make sound muddy.

When I had them I didn't have problems like you also your ears need time to get used to new headphones. Maybe you are looking for something v shaped around the same price you can buy a AKG K361 or 371 which has more bass and top end.

If you enjoy it then use it if not don't. I don't really like it because how fake the music can sound also it doesn't like my EQ app so I just turned it off. I'm not an expert in it, from what I experienced it can be described as: tries to increase the perception of the soundstage and separation also the vocals feel more intimate but it depends on the music
