Yeah… new to hiking so just had long gaiters and spikes. Needless to say my toes were pretty cold on the way back. I went the Sunday it snowed a few inches in the morning so it’s was so soft. Snow shoes will be a definite purchase before next winter

I tried 3 weeks ago, was the first one in a few weeks who had tried and was sinking to my knees, only made it half way. Will def try again
