Yeah just try to go during daylight hours. Kennedy plaza during the day is fine mostly students and people going to work (still a lot of homeless tho) and at night it’s a bit sketchy. You’ll be fine though the buses are safe and pretty reliable tho you may have to wait a bit

Anywhere on the east side is great especially fox point and Wayland there’s workout studios, restaurants, bars and easy to walk and bike. The west side is also great especially Broadway and the dexter park neighborhood. You’ll love it here it’s a very charming city and you can’t beat RI in the summer

Tbh that’s just what my Italian uncle told me 🤷♀️ always made sense to me seeing that they are a staple in bakeries so take it with a grain of salt

It was a way for bakeries to get around health codes. Taking off the diary allowed bakeries to serve the pizza right from the counter, making it a quick and easy lunch. Plus it’s delicious!

Reply to Potential Move From West Side To Wayland - questions about Wayland community - insight deeply appreciated by [deleted]
I’m a young professional living in Wayland. I love it. I can walk to literally anything I need. Grocery store, pharmacy, liquor store, cafe, yoga studio all less than a 5 minute walk. Very nice, a bit more mature than other neighborhoods but if I could I would 100% buy a house here

Ellie’s is an amazing cafe downtown highly recommend also Rosalina’s, Durks BBQ, and Oberlin are fantastic for dinner. Rory’s just opened it’s a grocery store and cafe also I recommend Serendipity Gourmet they have a small grocery selection and a great lunch buffet enjoy your stay!
