Google is afraid to kill their ad business, so they're letting others pass them by. Classic business mistake. There are apparently a lot of Google stans going around telling everyone how Google invented AI, etc, but it really looks like they got caught flat footed on this one.

In 2013, Google's average tenure was about 1 year.
It hasn't really changed much over a decade. Honestly, it seems like a toxic place to work, so people just stay long enough for their RSUs to vest, get Google on the resume, and then take off.

You are clearly dealing with a Google astroturf drone. Has a vested interest in the idea that monopolies aren't so bad, MS wasn't punished, so Google won't be either, shut up and take it. Such a weird choice on Google's part to support such a thing.
