Poinsettias are also toxic (and I hate them) so I finally got the mother-in-law to stop bringing them to me at Christmas.

Recently went back to Alewife and everything was perfect - especially loved a sunchoke bisque. Our waiter, who we’ve had before, was a delight as always. Props also to Alewife for great NA mocktails.

Had a pretty good brunch recently at Lillie Pearl, the fried chicken French toast was a good blend of savory/sweet - but I’m going back to try that short rib breakfast burrito. Pretty decent virgin Bloody Mary was imbibed, as well.

I can’t believe I waited so long to watch Barry. SO GOOD. Burned through all 3 seasons in a week and now I’m desperate for season 4. Such a great mix of suspense and comedy. Plus, I love Bill Hader. Why did I wait so long?

Other current obsession is The Last of Us. Episode 3 had me in tears.
