I know you so damn well. I did this. I’d recommend picking up one of those books again and finishing it from where u left off. I’ve done this more than once and most of the time it’s fine. Just did it with Midnight’s Children. Really did not like that story. Reading is a habit. Sticking to it is a habit. I’m reading two at a time (usually fiction and non-f, one actual book, one on Kindle) because it’s a habit. If u need a list t pick from there’s tons. Here’s one; https://thegreatestbooks.org/

Reply to Update: so, I'm going to read 100 "classic" books, and To Kill a Mockingbird was the first on the list by [deleted]
Remembrance of Things Past is overlooked a lot. Complex, delicious sentences that need to be savored more than once. A storyline that is stunning and contemporary. It’s a real shame that this beauty has fallen away.

Couldn’t possibly b a grift with this, “The filing did not name the recipient, or recipients, of the donation.”

Currently reading MC. Dense and frustratingly obtuse in places. References to 150 pages previous (like how would I remember that?). Nearly done. Not sure I wanna pick up another Rushdie. Question; Just gotta kindle. How can u do research on it? Currently reading Over the Edge of the World on it. Need my iPhone at the ready to search for people places and pictures. Can I do that in Kindle?
