John Lennon's "How Do You Sleep" is about Paul McCartney:
A pretty face may last a year or two
But pretty soon they'll see what you can do
The sound you make is muzak to my ears
You must have learned something in all those years

Paul McCartney's "Silly Love Songs" is his response:
You'd think that people would have had enough of silly love songs
I look around me and I see it isn't so
Some people want to fill the world with silly love songs
And what's wrong with that?

Mad Men's portrayal of Roger taking LSD was very well done (and funny).

I was a fan, but it seems to me that their legacy now reflects their stature in the 70s. They were (and still are) in a slightly lower tier than the bands you cite.

I haven't seen it for a while, but I think you are mistaken. It is a daily show taped live late afternoon and airs on the same day late night. It was described as a Jay Leno/David Letterman kind of show.

Try some short stories or novellas. There are a lot of anthology books that contain multiple stories.
I also like book series because I am already familiar with some of the characters, settings, and style. This allows me to more easily get right into the plot.

MY wife and I have different taste in movies, so I often go by myself. I never feel like I am standing out or being judged.
