I had no problem with them for years, until last month. I want to just switch to the standard offer and be done with it, but my wife is determined to try to get some kind of refund first. 🙄

The last thing I want to do is defend CMP, but my bill doubled last month and it was entirely Electricity Maine’s supplier rate.

Probably what I’m going to do if they have no explanation. Of course their website says there is a $100 ETF, but I did that math and that’s still less with the standard offer than they’re charging me now.

I saw that too, a little less than the standard offer, and honestly I’d be ok with that. $0.3799 is excessive.

They've been my supplier for at least 4yrs, so any promo has long since expired. And unless some letter was lost in the mail or accidentally thrown away, I was never notified this increase would be coming.

Correct, my supplier is Electricity Maine.

My bill has risen gradually over time as well, but never a jump like this. Like I said, this is not a result of higher usage or CMP upping the delivery fee, it's from Electricity Maine more than doubling the supply rate.

I think most were tacky, but I was a fan of IEATA55. Hopefully that one survives the purge.
