Pennsylvania Dutch, those are the Amish and the Mennonite. Some of the most delicious fried chicken, shoo-fly pie, chow chow, whoopee pies, pot pies, and so much more. Just be careful driving around the countryside there, lots of horse and buggies. They'll have red reflective triangles.

If you're in Lancaster Co, I would highly recommend heading over to the smorgasbord in Bird in Hand. There's nothing really like PA Dutch cooking

For food in Wilkes Barre area, I would first recommend Istabul Grill. Located just off the main square, delicious Turkish food at reasonable prices. For something to do, if its warm enough, I would say a hike down to 7 Tubs. Theres also the Aquarium in Scranton.
