Am I reading this right where it says 1 adult can get by on about $37k "living wage"?
That's a far cry from what I see people here demanding almost daily

In most cases if you notify your company (not just limited to oil) they'll price match.
If not, it's easy to jump ship. Most companies know this and will generally work with you especially if you're a long term customer.
