Reply to Lyrics or the music? by meganelizabethjade
I try to grasp both but in MUSIC… the music matters most. For me with lyrics. It’s less about writing good lyrics, and more about try to not to write bad lyrics. Bad lyrics stick out to me in a distracting way.

I highly highly doubt it, I use Apple Music and don’t find their recommendation algorithm to be that useful tbh.

Just skimmed through this as the lack of paragraphs makes this difficult to read.
I guess the question is do you need lossless? And do you need the remastered version of an album? the long and the short of it is no, you don’t need it.

I don’t think you understand the original question. It’s what perfect album gets ruined by one or two songs. Theres a number of skippable songs there. Not just one.

Used CD’s are so cheap at the moment. Might not be like that forever though.
50s-80s stuff I’ll try a get a good vinyl pressing. More contemporary stuff I just get the CD.
Vinyl can be a hassle though.

I don’t have much experience with car subs but for in house, Rel subs are superb.
If you’re a bit of a bass head, look into subs by SVS. They’re still great subs that go low and give you that “in your chest” feeling even at low volumes. Might be more for you.

An underseat sub in a car would work, or just put a big one in the back. Most subs you can increase the volume and crossover separately to taste.
Might cost some money (albeit not too much) to get a sub but if it will save your ears, it’s probably worth it.

This is the answer. Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and The Beatles all had at least 5 or 6 stellar albums.

Jim Morrison, Ozzy Osborne, Jimi Hendrix, David Byrne all weren’t “good” singers but that didn’t stop them. These guys and like the examples you gave (Cobain) are all good because they have something you can’t teach, charismatic vocals.
