I moved to CT from VT. My life is better in every way in CT. My families salary nearly doubled, I actually live on a much more quiet and peaceful area (lived on rt 4 in VT and now live in the quiet corner) and my cost of living is basically the same (got kinda lucky buying my house at a low point in housing prices). And, I'm only 2 hours from VT and can visit as often as I like.
There is a saying in VT, "you can't get there from here" and it is for real. People complain about traffic and driving in CT, but I had to travel 45 min just to get to the nearest decent grocery store.
Obviously your milage will vary, but for me I'm much happier in CT.
I'm shocked this guy is a Republican /s. Next thing you know all the R creeps will be accusing Biden of abusing his dogs... projection is all they know.
