Check out Blue Air 121 at Costco. Around $250ish and if I’m remember right it’s one of the best or the best performing filter per dollar by Consumer Reports. Also super simple design so I’m hopeful it will last forever. If not, it goes back to Costco.

Maybe try a different lid? I have 3 insulated YETI bottles that have never leaked, but I have the screw-on tops.

Like I said, I’ve had mine for 5 years and it’s good as new.

Dyson is great in my experience. Hands down the best vacuum I’ve had and it works like new after 5 years. Still going strong.
And if you buy from Costco, you can just return it if it ever breaks. So can definitely be BIFL.

I’d recommend stainless steel. Tried and true, can last forever. Most folks on here will recommend All Clad if you can swing it, as they have a lifetime warranty and are arguably the best quality for the money.
I recently bought an All Clad D3 set and am super happy with it so far. Cooks evenly, well balanced, easy enough to clean. And I don’t see a reason why it won’t last for life. I hope this helps.

Same is true with metal. I also prefer metal over plastic for health reasons.

Reply to Wondering if anyone could give me recommendations or point me in the right direction when looking at gas ranges? by OriginalKid
I’d reconsider gas appliances these days. I believe some states are even banning them in new homes, they’re on their way out for health and safety reasons.
I’d recommend induction which is better IMO anyway.
