I had that same impediment as a kid. I said "wed" instead of "red." I finally learned to say R correctly when I was 7. The most embarrassing thing is that both my first name and my last name begin with the letter R.

You mean the one who used to hang around downtown Boston and yell, "ANY SPAAAAAAAAAARE CHAAAAAAAAANGE?' in a raspy voice?

We could live-trap all the rats and ship them out to one of the harbor islands.

Rats can even babysit kittens! Check out this video. None of the kittens ate their babysitters:

The rats I've seen in Boston are about the size of squirrels, only with hairless tails instead of furry tails.

When the Big Dig began in the early 1990's, hundreds of subterranean rats were displaced and made their way into the city.
There's been a rat problem in Boston ever since.

There will always be rats anywhere that humans live in close proximity to each other. Heck, I've even seen rats in rural areas.

Today, every kid knows what their voice really sounds like, and we also know that the dinosaur's little tiny arms were actually wings.

Yes, and then when Jordan Marsh closed, their ad said, "Jordan Marsh is closing, but we're still here."

I used to work in Charlestown, and my office building had a view of the Mystic River and I frequently saw tankers going by.
