I didn’t read the article yet but if the Indian cheetah is not a separate species then what they were was “extirpated”, not extinct.

Where the fuck did I say “large majority”. Cite that for me. Thanks. And by the by… 43% is HUGE. If 43% of cars on the road were stolen that might make the news at least or something.

Of the 420 dirt bikes police have seized since the launch of the task force, 88 were stolen, said Baltimore Detective David Jones. 21%
Police seized a total of 15 dirt bikes and ATV’s of which six were stolen and three had obliterated serial numbers. 60%
During their investigation, officers recovered two dirt bikes. One of the bikes had been previously reported stolen in Southern Maryland. 50%
Or. I just know how math works.

Try googling? Yes when the dirt bike task force confiscates bikes anywhere from 25-50% are stolen bikes. Not that you couldn’t have looked that up yourself.

And they were given plenty of options. SniffSpot is the best choice at this moment. Big dogs don’t belong in the small dog section. Ever. There are plenty of places for them to go. The small dog area is for small dogs. End of story.

Sorry but no. As a small dog guardian I would not feel OK with a large, admittedly dog-reactive dog in the small dog area. Then it’s incumbent on the small dog owner to confront someone about being somewhere they shouldn’t be. There is a small dog section for a reason. Sure OP might be reasonable and leash up immediately but this does not need to become a trend or something that is suggested as a valid alternative. It’s not. Small dog areas are for small dogs. It’s the one place some of them can feel and BE safe.

You know what’s art? The decades of study and the long hours poring and over design plans and picking materials and building something beautiful and utilitarian like the beautiful old historical library on St Paul or any of the myriad pieces of architecture and old brick in this city. And the labor working class people put into trying to make their homes nice… the people around the corner had someone spray paint ACAB on the side of their fucking house. They aren’t COPS! They aren’t government officials. They’re a retired couple! Now they have to go scrub fucking paint off their bricks?! Graffiti is trash when it destroys homes, public places and neighborhoods. Stop trying to be so fucking edgy. This city looks like shit.
Due-Net-88 t1_j6zpknb wrote
Yup. Just found out they’re no longer doing graffiti mitigation based on a call to 311 a couple weeks ago.

London, Dublin, Madison, Wisconsin, Phoenix, Tucson, Albuquerque, Philadelphia, Newark NJ, Atlanta, Memphis— off the top of my head the last few cities I have traveled to that were MUCH cleaner than Baltimore. And yes, Philly IS cleaner. Baltimore is the filthiest city I have ever lived in (and I have lived in a few mid sized cities). With the exception of LA it’s the dirtiest city I have ever been to.

Because TBH it’s better off to ignore these people than fight or take their flag or whatever. A. It does the public service of letting you know who the crazies are but also B. they WANT adversity. The worst thing you can do to someone like this is pay them no attention.
